Son of José de Jesús Mondragón, an accomplished musician who played with the magic violins of Villafontana, the San Diego Symphony, and the Orchestra of Baja California.

Diego de Jesús started a band called Jazz-Vaz and played throughout San Diego, Mexico City and Baja California. He was was able to share the stage with José-José, Pandora, Yuri, Armando Manzanero, Victor Iturbe "El Pirulí", and Julieta Venegas. Diego had the opportunity to play for Presidents Ronald Reagan and Miguel de la Madrid during a joint visit in Baja California.

He just released "Latin Beat Christmas", a unique twist on Christmas Favorites full of Spicy Latin Rhythms. His next CD which includes some of his compositions and will be out in the beginning months of 2009.
